Creating Products / Brands

This guide covers how to create Products/ Brands.
Create Products/ Brands line items in order to be able to select them later as part of your Contracts and Shipments. This also allows you to capture the ESG credentials related to a specific Product/ Brand.
⚠️
Products/ Brands must be created before creating a Contract. Just create it once and can be used in all Contracts.
Creating Products/ Brands
After loggin in to the Assay Exchange platform,
- Click on Products/Brands tab on the top right.
- Click on + NEW BRAND
- Insert the relevant details
Brand overview
- Brand name (Mandatory)
- Brand code
- Product name
- Product code
- Location
- External ID
- Load Port
Typical assay
- Brand elements details
tip
Click on +ADD if there are more than 1 Brand elements
- Once you are done, hit the Save button.
Now the newly created Products/Brands is in the list.
