Creating Trade Schedule
This guide explains how both buyers and sellers can add a Trade Schedule in the MineHub platform.
Navigate to the Trade
Using the Trade Manager, navigate to the trade you would like to create a schedule for.
- Use the Missing Schedules quick filter at the top of the page. (This narrows the data shown to only trades and months without a schedule.)
- Once the relevant trade is identified, click on the Create Schedule icon in the Schedule column to begin working on the schedule for the chosen Trade, Monthly Quota, and Material.
Creating the schedule
In the new page that opens, you will see details of the Material, Delivery Term, and PO (purchase order) associated with this quota.
Please make sure you are scheduling for the correct Material and Delivery Term!
You can also adjust the toggle buttons to choose whether to view the schedule by:
Weight or number of Loads
Delivery date or Ship date
Metric tonnes (mt) or Pounds (lb)
When you’re ready to add a schedule, select the Create button. (If you’re the buyer, this button will appear in the Buyer’s column.)
In the form that appears, add details of the route from drop down:
- From location: where the material is being shipped from
- Type: Rail / Truck / Vessel: the conveyance being used
- Average Weight: the expected average weight per conveyance (e.g. 20mt per truck)
- Transit Time: the expected time in days (same day = 0 days)
If there are multiple routes, don’t worry! You will be able to add more routes later.
After you hit Create, this will open up textboxes on the schedule itself.
- Add numbers to these textboxes, scheduling either by number of Loads or by Weight.
- The totals column to the right shows the amount of material you’ve scheduled for that day.
- Once you’re done, hit Save.
- Click on Add route if you need to add another route (e.g. for a different conveyance or if shipping from multiple locations)
- Click on Edit if you need to edit any of the details.
You can add schedules for other quotas on the same trade (i.e. different materials or delivery locations) by selecting from the Delivery term / Material dropdown menu.
Actual deliveries are also tracked on this page in the Actuals section to the right-hand side. This allows buyers to measure sellers' performance against the schedule provided.
