Amending a Trade

Trades can be amended after they have been created. This guide covers how to add, edit, or delete relevant details within a trade, including Contacts, Materials, Delivery terms, Quantity, Pricing and Documents.

Accessing the trade from the Trade Manager

  • Navigate to Trades > Trade Manager.
  • Choose the relevant trade ID that you want to amend or edit.

Upon clicking into the trade ID, you will be directed to the Trade Details page for that particular trade.

Contacts

Users listed in the contacts section are notified when amendments are made to the trade, declarations are completed, or schedules are entered.

  • To add or remove contacts, click on the Pencil Icon.
  • Amendments can be made to the Buyer, Seller, or Shipper contacts.

Existing users will appear in the dropdown list. If a person from your organization does not appear in the list, they will need to be added to the platform. Please refer to the user guide for creating new users. Check out - Adding & Deleting Users user guide.

  • The trade reference is optional (e.g. your internal system ID) and can also be edited in this section:

Materials

Please note that Materials referenced by existing quotas cannot be removed.

  • Click on the Pencil Icon to amend or edit material details.
  • For existing materials, choose the relevant material's Pencil Icon to edit or the Trashcan Icon to delete (if the material is not referenced by any existing quota).
  • Additional materials can be added by clicking the + Add another button.
  • Once changes are made, remember to hit the Save button on the left-hand side.

Similarly to Contacts and Materials, the Pencil Icon allows you to edit or delete details for Delivery terms, Quantity, Pricing and Documents associated with the trade.

By following these steps, you can manage and modify various aspects of a trade, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
